This article shares details on how to work with Communication Logs.

Mapping
Required fields
Recipient ID - The iMIS ID of the individual who received the communication.
Subject - The subject of the interaction/communication.
Optional fields
Html - The data for the interaction. HTML is supported but not required.
Message Type - The type of message. The different options will appear in a dropdown.
Not Working Fields
Interaction Date - The date of the communication
The REST API does not provide the functionality for inserting/updating the interaction date. Even though iDMS allows you to use this field, the interaction date will be set to the date the task ran in iMIS regardless of what you set it to in iDMS.
