This article shares details on how to work with Shipping by Weight (Freight Rate Data).
Mapping
Required Fields
Shipping Method Code - The shipping method as described in Gen_Table(Ship_Method)
Weight - Weight of package
Zone - Shipping Zone from shipping organization used to calculate cost
Optional Fields
Recommended Optional Fields:
Rate - The amount charged for weight/zone
The other fields are dependent on the activity type and their descriptions will be listed.
Mapping Notes
Matching is CRITICAL!
At this point the action you should use is Insert/Update. You will need to map the Shipping Method, Zone, and Weight. The rate should be the cost that the shipping provider is giving you from the combination of Zone and Weight.
