Financial Entities

Overview

iMIS defines financial entities as an Organization, Fund, or Entity, in the context of iMIS accounting, all refers to a business unit that maintains separate financial books. A fund is a specific type of organization or entity whose purpose is to solicit donations. iMIS allows for multiple entities but only one entity can be set as the default.

View Financial Entities

To view the financial entities, select the Entities menu option from the top navigation bar.

Financial Entities

  1. Navigates you to the Organization edit page.

  2. Navigates you to the Organizations financial entities page.

An entity can only map to one organization.
